State Lawmakers to Host Town Hall on School Property Tax Relief in Joliett

HARRISBURG – Rep. Joanne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill) will join Rep. Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion) and Sen. Dawn Keefer (R-Cumberland/York) for a town hall to discuss solutions to the growing school property tax burden on homeowners and local businesses.

The event will give residents the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences, and learn about measures that could provide meaningful relief.

"Property taxes are one of the biggest challenges facing our community," said Stehr. "This town hall is a chance to have an open conversation about real solutions and hear directly from residents about how these taxes affect their daily lives."

The town hall will be held Monday, March 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the Joliett Fire Company, 401 Main St., Joliett. Residents are asked to RSVP by calling 570-653-2018.
