HARRISBURG – Rep. Joanne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill) is pleased to announce $1.5 million in grant funding has been allocated to complete critical projects in the 107th District through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).

“I am excited to hear this grant funding will benefit our communities in the 107th District,” said Stehr. “This funding will facilitate the construction of a new, much-needed mill next to Clark’s Feed Mill and a top-tier horse breeding facility at Blackstone Farms. In my capacity as a state legislator, I am always working to secure the necessary funding for our area, and I appreciate everyone’s support in helping to secure these grants.”

The following projects have been approved for funding:

• Ralpho Township in Northumberland County will receive $500,000 to construct a new feed mill adjacent to Clark’s Feed Mill to increase production capacity.

• Pine Grove Borough in Schuylkill County will receive $1 million for the creation of a first-class "Kentucky-style" stallion and breeding facility, located on 69 acres across from the existing Blackstone Farms.

RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition, and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
