– Rep. JoAnne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill) is inviting area seniors, their family members and caregivers to her upcoming Pine Grove Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Hose Hook and Ladder, 1 Orchard St
., Pine Grove.
“This is a great event that offers a wealth of information in one convenient location for our seniors and their loved ones,” Stehr said. “I encourage area seniors to take advantage of this opportunity.”
The expo is open to seniors aged 55 and over, as well as their family members and caregivers. A variety of exhibitors will be on hand to share information about issues such as health care, government services, fraud protection and more. The event also features a speaker from the PA Office of Attorney General, as well as a drug take-back box from the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Office to properly dispose of expired or unwanted prescription medications.
Admission to the expo is free and lunch will be served. Those planning to attend should RSVP by calling Stehr’s Hegins office at 570-653-2018.
